Why we collect your information?

We always wish to provide good travel experiences to our guests and in a move we collect your personal information as when we know more about you, the better we can customize our services. All the information that we collect are solely used for running your trip smoothly and processing your travel documents with the local authorities.

Personal Information, Passport and Flight Details

At the time of booking your tour, we need your name, email ID and phone number to make reservations and to do follow up with you on the trip.
Once the trip is been confirmed we ask from you a scanned copy of your passport — we require this while we book your Bhutan inbound flights. We will also need this while we process your Visa with the Department of Immigration. We also require details of your international connecting flights to help us plan or synchronize your inbound flights.

Dietary Needs and Physical Health Details

We always try to accommodate any special requests. Prior to your trip, we will be asking you to furnish if you have any dietary need or restrictions. Our guide will be made aware of your requests to be informed hotels and restaurants accordingly. If it is a trek, our trekking chef will be informed of such needs before the commencement of the trek.
While on trek, our guide will have to provide you the right instructions and the appropriate trekking equipment. Hence, we require your physical and health details as well.

How We Maintain Your Personal Information?

Your personal information will be kept highly confidential. We will not share or trade with any third parties except Royal Government of Bhutan, Tourism Council of Bhutan and other local authorities while processing travel documents such as your Visa, Route Permits and Special Permits.

Complaints and Rights

If you have any indications that Bhutan Travelers have not complied with their Privacy or has a concern with the use of your personal information, you may email to the Chairman at info@bhutantravelers.com. Response to your complaint will be given within 30 business days if your complaint is justified.
Bhutan Travelers reserves the right to change its Policy without any prior notice.
